Last weekend was a whirlwind! Despite the crowd, you all still showed up. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who came and supported the launch of Head by the Ceiling. Your support gives me courage and inspiration. I loved hearing your horror stories, and knowing that horror has motivated some of you to read more is the best kind of validation.

Thank you to the book ambassadors who inspired so many readers to attend PBF and share the joy of reading. What you do is equally important. You welcomed me and my book with open arms and I can’t thank you enough. To the readers who picked up my book as their first horror read, my apologies if it will traumatize you. But isn’t that part of the fun? Let’s embrace horror like we did as kids because it represents our fears, anxieties and moral boundaries. I hope you’ll enjoy the book and characters as much as I enjoyed writing it. I also had the honor of sharing a panel discussion with Yvette and Kyu for Otherworld and Beyond: Writing Horror & Speculative Fiction. The room was packed and the energy was electric. It was incredible to share a little bit of my story and hopefully we inspired aspiring authors to keep writing. And because you’ve given us more time & appreciation, we ended up doing a second round of book signing. Truly, I couldn’t be more grateful. As PBF comes to a close, I want to say, I’ll carry the beautiful, thrilling experience in my heart. You have made the launch incredibly meaningful and I’m inspired to write more novels. Thank you everyone for your passion, your love for stories, and your willingness to dive into the dark with me.
